On this website you will find a compilation of food & cocktail recipes. You will also find reviews and blog posts of my experiences travelling to fun destinations of restaurants. Most of my food and drink recipes are very detailed with step by step instructions and photos while others are a bit more open for you to make your own adjustments. Always remember to Eat, Drink, and Live!

I think you’ll find the best way to navigate the site is to choose a category in the navigation bar. You will find Food Recipes in the food section that span from smoked meat to gourmet pastas. You will then find some Cocktail Recipes that pair great with a hearty meal and others that bring out your inner wildebeest. Element is where you will find techniques and components to help create complex dishes. Lastly, Experiences is where you will find great travel and dining memories

Yes, I do offer more than just great Food & Cocktail Recipes on this website. Wanderlust is a word that I started to use to describe myself at some point in my 20’s. I was always fond of travel and new experiences. But it really wasn’t until my first Michelin experience that I fell in love with the art of food. Likewise it wasn’t until my first journey to Asia that I realized how much more there was to world travel than beautiful beaches and snow covered mountains.

Some of the Food & Cocktail recipes I have posted are inspired by those travels. Truffle pasta was actually something I first experienced in Cebu even though its origins are in Europe. The same story with the Weng-Weng which I discovered a bit too late was every bit as strong as a Long Island Iced Tea. The best Irish food I ever had was from a small expat bar in Bangkok (and yes, I’ve been to Dublin). However the best Swedish meatballs were in Stockholm. My point being that amazing experiences and memories can come unexpectedly and with a hint of irony when you are open to travel and new foods.

My last little plug here about travel. If you’ve never left your own country, try to find a way to make it happen. If you’ve never left your own continent, try to find a way to make it happen. I have been very blessed with travel to distant places and I can promise you that by opening your mind and body to new lands, cultures, and people, will make you a better person and give you a new appreciation for life.

About me

I spend most of my days (and plenty of evenings) facilitating engineering work across the global economy. It’s a job that has given me the ability to travel extensively, immerse myself in various cultures, and enjoy a wide variety of great food and drink.

Whether travelling abroad or relaxing at your home, there is no reason why you can’t enjoy some of life’s greatest pleasures. Life is short and 2,000 calories a day isn’t a whole lot. So always remember to Eat! Drink! Live!

I started this website / blog during the COVID-19 crisis as a way to not only capture the memories of my own escapes, but to also help others create their own.
