Gather and prep your ingredients.
Mix the sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese in a bowl.
Spread the mixture on top of the tostado shells uniformly and equally.
Cook the ground beef to a nice brown color. Don't forget to season as you desire.
This is more of a tip than a required step. I like to drain the excess grease from my ground beef before proceeding.
Add the cheese sauce to the ground beef and stir / toss until it is evenly distributed.
Place an equal amount of ground beef in the center of each large tortilla (I recommend doing this off the griddle – so ignore that aspect of the photo). 😉
Place the tostado on top of the ground beef. Then place the street taco tortilla on top of the tostado.
Wrap up the large tortilla similar to photo. Flip to cook both sides until a nice crunchy brown.
