Ingredients
- 6 ea Large Flour Tortillas
- 6 ea Crunchy Tostados
- 6 ea Street Taco Flour Tortillas
- 1 lb Ground Beef I like to use 80/20, but leaner works too!
- 1/2 cup Cheese Sauce See notes. You can use more if you like cheesy!
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Cheddar Shredded
- 1 cup Monterrey Jack Shredded
- 2 cups Lettuce Shredded
- 3/4 cup Tomato Chopped
- 1 ea Seasoning For the ground beef. Use your preference.
Instructions
- Gather and prep your ingredients.
- Mix the sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture on top of the tostado shells uniformly and equally.
- Cook the ground beef to a nice brown color. Don't forget to season as you desire.
- This is more of a tip than a required step. I like to drain the excess grease from my ground beef before proceeding.
- Add the cheese sauce to the ground beef and stir / toss until it is evenly distributed.
- Place an equal amount of ground beef in the center of each large tortilla (I recommend doing this off the griddle – so ignore that aspect of the photo). 😉
- Place the tostado on top of the ground beef. Then place the street taco tortilla on top of the tostado.
- Wrap up the large tortilla similar to photo. Flip to cook both sides until a nice crunchy brown.
- Serve and enjoy!

Notes
- Have some fun with these. Sub in chicken or use Doritos to get that crunchy center! Add a slice or two of American cheese. So many possibilities!
- You could use regular canned cheese sauce here, but why would you? Try my recipe for Spicy Queso Sauce. Whatever is leftover you can use as a queso dip with chips!
