Gather your ingredients. Set your oven for 450 degrees.
Use a kitchen shear to cut the lobster tail open.
Remove the meat from the shell. Remove the "vein" and clean appropriately. Place the meat back into the opened shell. Note that mine is upside down from how most chefs will prepare this. It's not as pretty, but since we aren't serving the tail directly, but rather using the meat as a component, I like placing it upside down as it holds butter better. 😉
Brush the butter onto your lobster tails.
Apply the seasoning.
Bake for 10-20 minutes. We're looking for an internal temp around 145 degrees. Remove from the oven and discard the shells.
Cut / chop your tails into pieces of your desired size. Use in your dish and enjoy!
