Gather those ingredients. Set the oven for 400 degrees.
Add the sugar, bourbon, and maple syrup in a pot and apply low heat. Stir occasionally. Reduce a bit, potentially as much as getting it to be paste like.
While the glaze is heating up, line a pan with foil and place wired trays on it. Spray the trays with non-stick.
Apply a thick layer of the the glaze to all sides of the bacon. Save the remaining glaze.
Bake the bacon. Turn and re-glaze it every 10 minutes or so. Keep an eye on it to ensure the bacon and glaze don't burn.
Remove when the bacon is cooked and glaze is firmly candied to the meat. Enjoy!
